Anti-Racism Anti-Oppression Portal – New Mexico Public Education Department
“Every school district and every charter school shall provide links to the statewide portal to report racially charged incidents or racialized aggression.”
The Anti-Racism/Anti Oppression (ARAO) Portal is a resource created by the Black Education Act (House Bill 43) that is available for staff, students, families, community members, and other stakeholders to report school-based incidents of racism or racial discrimination against anyone.
The ARAO portal is a neutral bridge that supports communication between districts, schools, students, and their families. The ARAO Portal covers racialized incidents that happen within New Mexico schools.
